Chewies have been designed for children who need extra deep pressure sensory input to remain calm and focused.

For many years it has been frowned upon for children to chew on their stationary, like pencils, or their fingernails. Little did we know that children adopt these behaviours as a coping mechanism to deal with stress. A stressed child cannot focus in class or learn properly. But since they aren't allowed to practice their calming coping mechanisms, they remain agitated.

These chewies provide the child a socially acceptable alternative to chew on, satisfying the deep pressure sensory input they need in order to learn.

The beads are made of food grade silicone and the cord is nylon. It can easily be washed and dries fast.
